Eileen was the eldest child of James and Kathleen Mitchell who had a total of 9 children, Eileen, Cathy, Ruby, Mary, Jimmy, Peter, Billy, Roy and Betty. This was the start of many families to be added to this still growing family.

One day someone clever will add up all the Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and probably by now Great Great Grandchildren.

Eileen herself had 5 children, Michael, Christine,  Dennis, Linda and Susan. Who she loved and nurtured with her loving husband David. 16 Grandchildren have been added over the years and they where all loved and cared for by there special grandparents and have beautiful memories of times spent with them both.  Great Grandchildren are now a huge number In this family and numbers are still growing.

David past away 15 years ago with prostrate cancer. This left a big hole in the family, especially for Eileen.

The next devastating moment in Eileens life was the onset of Alzheimers . I now count myself lucky that I was able to spend a lot of time with her through this journey that none of us wanted for our mum. As hard as it was seeing her deterioration we still, laughed, smiled, chatted, cried, kissed and huge each other. She was always my very special mum and  I was always her daughter .

I will never forget this beautiful strong lady. All our fun times we had. She'd say we were partners in crime and I was her best friend and that meant the world to me. Biggest compliment ever.

I know i will never forget what you and Dad done for me.
